Originally initiated under the guidance of Air Cmdr C Rajeev, then-DDG, NCC, Karnataka & Goa Dte, CADET (Comprehensive All-round Development and Employability Training) was designed with one objective:

To develop confident and articulate cadets.

The training program and curriculum, designed by a team of professors and psychologists from Bangalore University,  has the reputation of covering over two-thirds of the areas needed for SSB Selections. Since its genesis in 2015, it is delivered in NCC camps all over the country in a two-day schedule, running for 8-10 hours every day.
